Do not forget to bring........

  • Bug Guard - something that works for tick and mosquitoes, Avon and Burt's Bees both make some great products. On the other hand if you want an old mountain mans advice just wear a flea collar on your ankle.
  • Tent- you can bring your own, arrange to share with someone else, sleep on the ground (not recommended), or sleep in your vehicle.
  • Sleeping Bag- always a good thing to bring camping. Also, if you have a therma-rest to sleep on you will have a much better experience.
  • Pillow - personally I think pillows rock, but if you are tough just skip this one.
  • Change of Clothes- You will be more comfortable in shoes that do not expose your feet to the vegetation. Long pants and a long sleeve tee should keep you comfortable late into the night.
  • Flashlight/Headlamp- we will be setting up torches and have other additional lighting but it is always nice to have a flashlight for those late night trips to the bathroom.
  • Extra Beverages- Water, beer, and wine will be served at the reception. However, if you plan on camping and staying up into the wee hours I encourage you to bring a cooler with extra beverages and ice.
  • First Aid Kit- this one should be obvious to all but I have many a time seen people frantic for band-aids and Neosporin. So please come prepared. DO NOT FORGET YOUR PRESCRIPTION MEDS, the farm is about 30 min from the nearest hospital.
  • Bathing Suit- This is really your call we are going to either get a bunch of kiddy pools or one larger pool for people to cool off in. Remember it will be the end of July and a dip in the pool might be just what you need.
  • Towel- See above
  • Camera- We are not hiring anyone to take pictures so please, please, please bring your cameras and take lots of pictures.
  • Camp Chair- If you do not have one do not sweat it. I just always like to have may own chair for the bonfires. There will be extra chairs at the campsites and I am sure people will share.
  • Wet wipes- If you happen to get hurt, touch poison ivy, etc wet wipes are fast and efficient in the removal of yuk. Also the ice in your cooler is a great compliment to a wet wipe in an emergency situation.
  • Rain Gear- You may want to bring an umbrella or rain jacket in case of rain. The event is rain or shine.
  • Don't Forget your party hat!
